This position is responsible for the engineering, planning, design, and implementation of electric distribution & sub-transmission systems.

Initiate and execute power delivery projects for entire plant, including design and implementation of facility and equipment electrical distribution systems.
Develop and maintain schedules, lead project status meetings, oversee budgets, participate in proposal preparation, take leading role in client relationships.
Evaluates, selects, and orders equipment that is most appropriate and cost effective.
Detailed design of new substation layouts using electrical schematics, bill of materials and equipment specifications.
Experience preparing substation design calculations such as bus sizing, power loading, DC loading, lighting, and cable sizing.
Understanding of NEC, NESC, NEMA, IEEE and ANSI standards.

Education and experience

Bachelor of Science in Engineering
Registered Professional Engineer is a plus
At least 7 years of experience of Electrical Distribution System experience
