Kyle Kluck Excavating is seeking a highly skilled, self-motivated mechanic with proven experience diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy trucks, construction equipment, trailers, small engines, and shop equipment.

This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for someone who can independently troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and diesel engine issues and complete repairs correctly the first time.

Shop machinery and support equipment

Primary Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair diesel engines
Troubleshoot hydraulic systems
Repair electrical systems, wiring, sensors, and controls
Service brakes, suspensions, steering, drivetrains, and transmissions
Perform preventative maintenance inspections
Weld and fabricate repair components when necessary
Research, read and interpret service manuals, wiring diagrams, and schematics
Maintain accurate repair records
Respond to occasional field service repairs

Wiring repairs and diagnostics

Drivetrain components
Differentials
PTO systems
Trailer repair

Minimum Qualifications

5+ years of heavy equipment and/or heavy truck repair experience
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
Ability to work independently without constant supervision
Welding and fabrication experience preferred
Ability to lift 75+ pounds
Valid driver's license
CDL or ability to obtain CDL is preferred
